Have you seen Nicola Walker in Spooks, Paul? That's how I got to know her. Excellent series, by the way. The film was not representative.

I thought the series flagged a little towards the end, but I loved Ruth, Harry, and the constantly changing cadre of agents. I think it was one of the first mainstream series' to actually kill off one of the leads. The trouble is, they seemed to get a taste for it. I quite fancied Hermione Norris too, although I'm not sure why.

Spooks was brilliant. My previous boss and I used to discuss every episode in detail the next day, we were both hooked. It was the best show ever for no character being safe. They killed off all manner of characters across the seasons. They all wore Star Trek red shirts

I've just started Better Than Us, which appears to be a kind of Russian 'Humans'.

I've just started Better Than Us, which appears to be a kind of Russian 'Humans'. Mmm, not wonderful but I'll give it at least to the end of E2 before I decide.

I'm 3 episodes into Altered Carbon now. It's growing on me. Yep - that's a good 'un. You have to keep your wits about you to follow the complex storyline, too.

I'm watching The Code, also from Australia. The Code S1 was pretty good stuff and S2 is proving to be even better. On Netflix.

I've just started Carnival Row, on Amazon Prime. So far it's a cross between LOTR and Ripper Street. Orlando Bloom even reminds me of Jerome Flynn's character in Ripper street. There's a fair bit of effing and blinding, nudity, shagging, and a hint of steampunk too. I'm only on episode one.

We are watching series 2 of How to get away with Murder. It is good, but for me probably has a few too many twists and turns. Yes that keeps you interested and entertained, but can become frustrating to follow at times.

I like twists and turns and complicated. Can even stick with a plot before I know what is going on
Not on Freeview or Amazon though so I'll have to wait

I finished S2 of The Code and thought this Australian series really worthwhile, quite different and well made. The characterisations are strong and it's pretty gripping all the way through.

Episode 3 of Carnival Row, and I am now in love with Cara Delevingne. End of message.

She gets her kit off in episode 3. That's what tipped the scales.

Westerns ? Godless Netflix , 7 episodes , 8/10 from me . Have you seen Deadwood, Barry? If not, it's well worthwhile but mind the swearing!
