Westerns ? Godless Netflix , 7 episodes , 8/10 from me . Have you seen Deadwood, Barry? If not, it's well worthwhile but mind the swearing! I started that but didn't follow it through , I'll rewatch , cheers. GODLESS is very much adult , realistic which I like in a western but the biggest surprise is the heroine Michelle Dockery ( Lady Mary ) if I hadn't seen Downton Abbey I'd have sworn she was American , excellent performance .

We are watching series 2 of How to get away with Murder. It is good, but for me probably has a few too many twists and turns. Yes that keeps you interested and entertained, but can become frustrating to follow at times. Onto series 3 and it hasn’t got any easier to watch but still has the catch that makes you want to see what happens next!

Has anyone tried Glitch? Another Oz series on Netflix. I shall continue watching having seen E1. A number of people wake up inside their graves, having been born in different ages. The local policeman tries to work out what is going on.
Also Manifest on Sky One. A number of people catch an apparently normal flight and land - 5 years later, having been declared lost and dead.

Has anyone tried The I-Land yet?
It reads a bit like Lost.

I'm still hooked on Carnival Row, and I must recommend it once more. I've only got two episodes left to watch and I'm already hoping for a second series. It's a bit like Ripper Street with swearing, shagging, the odd disembowelling, steampunk, and supernatural creatures. It's rated "18" for a reason. Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne play the two leads. [EDIT] I've just read that it's been renewed for a second series. Here's the season 1 trailer.

Carnival Row now watched, and it's the best new telly I've seen for ages. Season Two is set up nicely. I've just watched episode one of Dark Matter.

Dark Matter was fun, not to be taken seriously but it had its moments.
I'm re-watching Travelers. It's so bloody compelling that I find myself absorbed yet again. Really first class SF.

Getting towards the end of
Americans
gritty, very realistic and makes me think of what is happening in the world today. - except we don't see the things going on underneath

Dark Matter was fun, not to be taken seriously but it had its moments... The general "feel" reminds me of Firefly with bigger guns. It's nice to see a couple of familiar faces too; Torri Higginson, who was Dr. Weir in Stargate Atlantis is, apparently a recurring guest, and Zoie Palmer, who played Dr. Lauren Lewis in Lost Girl. Anthony Lemke (Three) also played a recurring character in Lost Girl. I've come to the conclusion that Canadian Sci Fi/ Fantasty TV is quite incestuous.

Yes, indeed. Hannah John-Kamen turns up in a few too, like Killjoys (also Canadian).
