S2 is not on Netflix, I can't find it on any of my services.

We tried watching Another Life. All seemed to contrived and trite tbh. We looked at each other and that was the signal to bail after about 15 mins! Might give it another try. It's always me saying to Marie, give it 2 + episodes, but this one got to us both in double time! Orville - can't get that stupid bird out of my head

Suits is back on Netflix and it’s good so far.

Hehe, silly mutiny.. as if they would not get earth guidance but could speak to family.. What was with the mutineer being allowed back again and annoying the others with an oily hand.. I'd have floated him Anyway got his comuppance fried nicely - health and safety in the work place.. not on my spaceship Do you think I'm over analysing it

It's pretty second rate, so not worth the analysis. I am still mesmerised by Katee Sackhoff, she is a pretty good actress and damned fit. I hadn't known she was good friends with Tricia Helfer, her Battlestar Galactica co-star.
Now that (BG the reimagined version) was top quality class A drama. Utterly superb. How can you not want to see more when this opens it?

Another life. Hehe.. further analysis. The crew is what you'd get if you took a whole team of Trump children, angry, petulant, self centred, non team players etc, barely trained them and put them on a dangerous space mission to save all the people on the planet! Only communication allowed would be equivalent to half baked tweets. No logic, no loyalty, no stoacism.
We're watching to see how bad it can get..

It goes up and down but still has some good moments.
I agree about the characters, as I first said. Stereotypical group of dysfunctional non-team idiots thrown together as if by pure chance rather than design.
And they're not even consistent. Silly.

Oh no, don't be put off. It's worth it for the effects and to see what happens. Anything in a spaceship is good

It really does have its moments and the effects are good.
And... it has Katee Sackhoff. Did I mention that?

Me too, especially as I've read the first novel in the Expanse series, Leviathan Wakes, by James S. A. Corey.

I've just finished S3 of Hinterland and that may well be the end of the series as the huge story arc is closed. Exceptional quality drama, quite superbly well made, thought provoking, with nuanced acting and a very dark setting strongly reminiscent of Scandi Noir. I can't recommend it highly enough. 9.5/10.

Sounds good. Will give Expanse a go next (if I've not already watched it). I'm enjoying Black Sails. Pirates of the Carribbean on steroids. Makes Johnny Dep look like a dandy (that was the idea I suppose)..
