I'm not the only one watching "The Orville" then? My main problem with it is that the captain (Seth McFarlane) looks like this... and sounds like this... Despite it's failings you can tell it's coming from a deep love of the original series, and the music is absolutely spot-on.

Surprised by The Handmaid's Tale, I wasn't expecting that. Superb, wasn't it? I'm hoping there is a second series.

I'm not the only one watching "The Orville" then? I've just watched the preview on YouTube and it looks like fun. Going to hunt it down and download back to Ep.1.

Slinger: Why does that dog look like Brain from Family Guy? Because it is Brian from Family Guy. Seth McFarlane writes The Orville and plays the Captain. He also writes Family Guy and voices Brian, so the Captain sounds like Brian.

Enjoying Star Trek Discovery. Love the opening credits graphics.
Blue Planet 2 is another world; a fish with an eye for a head and a lake in the sea - what's that all about!
Just completed Tin Star. Yah! That gets filed in with Fargo, Banshee and Deadwood. Excellent cool throughout from Tim Roth: "'Alright love?" " I just burnt the house down" "Oh.. well done"

Gave up on Mr. Robot. Not recommended.
Sneaky Pete highly recommended. Waiting for the 2nd series with anticipation. You have to start at the beginning and watch all episodes or you will get lost

I really hope there's a second series of Tin Star although his situation could hardly be worse.

I haven’t got round to watching it myself yet, but David Fincher’s Mindhunters on Netflix might be worth a watch...

We have just finished watching the latest series of Scorpion on Netflix. It’s about a group of geniuses who are hired by the American government to help them out on different missions. It’s a tad far fetched but we actually found it quite enjoyable.

It’s a tad far fetched but we actually found it quite enjoyable. I've been following it from the start on terrestrial, Paul. It's quite fun isn't it. The fact that it's (very, very, loosely) based on a real-life character, Walter O'Brian, gives it an extra twist, although some of the stuff he's supposed to have got up to has been called into question more recently. True or not, his bio does make an interesting read though. Spot the difference... The real Walter O'Brien | Elyes Gabel - The TV Walter O'Brien |

I've started watching a silly little program called Ghosted recently. I'd describe it as the bastard child of Special Unit 2, The X Files, and Chuck if pressed. It only fills a 30 minute slot and it's stupid, but it can be a laugh when bored.

Series 2 of Chance is still intriguing. Hugh Laurie plays him differently from House, but the character has considerable depth, too.

I tried downloading Fargo but Sky want £22 for S1, so I'll wait until it drops to free (hardly, in view of the monthly subscription I pay).

Enjoyed The Deuce, next up is Blindspot. I am still watching The Deuce, and have been a fan of Blindspot since it first began. Both series recommended.
