Ray Donovan - Not sure if anybody watching season five - thought it started quite slow, but the last two episodes have been absolutely brilliant - some of the best drama I've seen!

Think Auf Weidersehen Pet started on C4. Haven't watched any of the others except by accident Auf Wiedersehen Pet was definitely ITV, and then, unusually, it moved to BBC1 for two series and a Christmas special in 2002 and 2004.

Distant memory not working too well then. Hardly watch ITV (1) at all. Using keywords and season passes on Tivo takes me all over the place to some low ratings channels.

LiarOh dear. I lasted the first episode - just. 5 minutes into the second and I binned it. What a pile of shite. I should have known as it was on ITV and nothing good ever comes from that channel. Broadchurch, Cracker, Cold Feet, Prime Suspect, Touching EVil, Downton (alright, that one's a bit contentious) Morse, Lewis, Poirot, Unforgotten, Foyle's War, Vera, Endeavour, Midsomer Murders, Frost, Auf Weidersehen Pet, Code of a Killer, DCI Banks... I am quite liking Liar so far, and was a massive fan of Broadchurch, Cracker, Poirot and Frost, whilst wifey really enjoyed Downton Abbey.

Going back over old series, we've given Strike Back a try. Not class A level entertainment, but decent enough to continue.

I've just started watching the final series of Sleepy Hollow, and season 6 of Grimm is in the post. I've also got season 1 of Zoo to watch.

I have watched the first and second season of Strike Back, the first is by far the best, the second is ok and then after that it gets a little silly.

HeimatWonderful series you may have seen in the 80s and 90s, highly recommended. Just watched the 'new' episodes set in the mid 1800s. Home from Home* Brilliant again. *direct translation from German is The other Home Lifted from Amazon about the first series Five years in the making, Heimat is one of the most compelling and highly praised dramas in television history. This epic tale of a family and their rural life in a small German village is told against the changing backdrop of a country's turbulent history from 1919 to 1982. From the aftermath of the First World War, economic hardship, the rise and fall of Nazism, the Second World War and the decades that followed, life in the village goes on and the values and aspirations of the people at its heart are wonderfully brought to life in this gripping saga of an ordinary family living through extraordinary times. Edgar Reitz's astonishing 15-hour masterpiece appeared in 6th place when BBC2 ran a 40th birthday poll celebrating the station's greatest programmes and was 10th in Channel 4's 50 Greatest TV Dramas. It has captivated audiences all over the world and will continue to be hailed as one of television's most rewarding and unforgettable experiences

Gud är tyst (god is silent) - creepy Set in Bible belt Sweden. Rebecka Martinsson. Solving murders in a sweater or Parka from North of the artic circle. (Your hands are cold but your lips are warm..)

Sweden has a bible belt?! Yes, not as big or as fanatical as the USA. Probably exported them Trump was right, sent them the bad hombres Marie says it's in the South of the North, if that makes sense..

The Deuce is proving remarkably watchable, another high quality HBO production.

Netflix only it seems so not available to me The Deuce only on Sky again not for me just yet One I tried with and give up Mr. Robot. Starts with promise then gets tied up and speaks a lot but says little. Looking for another promising Amazon one to keep the boss happy

Last episode of Tin Star to go, can't wait.
Seth Macfarlane's Star Trek spoof The Orville is kinda lame, but has it's moments.
It must be the time for another Line of Duty...
Surprised by The Handmaid's Tale, I wasn't expecting that.
