Back to TV Drama...
The Expanse is proving to be an excellent adaptation of the James SA Corey books. I am impressed at the visualisation of such a complex 'universe' and the multiple storylines. The expiry of the Donnager, the pride of the Mars battlefleet, was very well done. Top drawer, goes into my all-time favourites list.

I've watched both seasons of ST: Discovery. It's excellent, but will there be any more?

I will say, though, when compared with The Expanse, the ST: Discovery world is riddled with cod-physics and impossible continuity jumps.
Still entertaining, though.

You have to get to the midway point of S1 of The Expanse, then it all starts to come together. It's a big complex world and the first few episodes are just trying to cover it. The acting and storywriting are top notch and the SFX have no right to be so good for a TV series.

I'm trying The Expanse. Marie doesn't seem interested. I'm hoping it will get better / first episodes as you say Martin are scene setters. I'm on episode 3 next. It's multiple series, so must be liked and funded, time and again.

Need to catch that I thought Twas The Expanse. S4 I think so another bash

Am I the only one who sings
"Swamp thing... You make my heart sing... You make everything groovey... "
Every bloody time I see the ad for what seems to be a crappy Amazon Prime horror drama? 😄

I'm watching "Killjoys" again, from the start. It's another of those series' that got "interrupted" so I'm looking forward to taking it past the point I remember.
