Shocking that not a single artist I listen to is even mentioned here, and I guess it would be the same for most of you.

To be honest I'm not surprised at all, it's all pop music which is all the largest demographic listen to and what Spotify is all about. I would have been more surprised if there was anything there that I listen to, or anything that pops up here in 'Playing Now' - our listening habits are extremely niche IMO Martin.
It's Spotify, it's mainstream . . . here today gone tomorrow. What would be more interesting are the stats for Tidal and Qobuz.

What would be more interesting are the stats for Tidal and Qobuz. Agreed, I'd love to see those. I'll ask in the Qobuz forum.

Tidal haven't been paying their royalties of late either, according to a recent article I read on Billboard. Some serious cashflow problems . . .
The only thing I would say though regarding the above, is Qobuz might pay more, but with only around 200,000 subscribers I'd probably be more happy as an artist with my music on a platform that has millions of subscribers, even if it paid me less per stream.
But as an end user I'd likely be more 'comfortable' with that chart if I never bought any actual music or went to shows.

Just noticed you saying the 'Qobuz Forum' MartinT. Is there anything on there about Qobuz Connect? It was promised last year, then there were rumours for 1st Quarter 2024, but nothing so far and no updated info that I can find. That would tempt me back, as well as quite a few more judging from feedback on the WiiM forum. One thing some might not know, is that during lockdown Qobuz were apparently giving 100% of streaming royalties to artists, that's quite a gesture. Bandcamp also did quite a few sale days when they also gave everything to the artist. Not heard of any other companies trying to help out as much, so kudos to both. I occasionally buy FLAC downloads from Bandcamp, as they seem a decent bunch.

I bought this on Record Store Day, to support Pete Wylie, and I haven't even got a vinyl setup at the moment.

Tim there is a post about it in Qobuz Club, quoting the Wiim forum: Brilliant, once they get that sorted I'm pretty sure I'm back in with them, Qobuz is the best service I've found for jazz Buy a record from Bampcamp , Local record Shop or Gig same income to a band as 10,000s of streams Definitely . . . I don't buy anything like I used to mind you, no room for it, but I do still try to buy music, especially if I can put the cash in the hand of the artist.
