Vivaldi The Meeting
Lorenzo Arruga, Dave Lombardo and friends -(1999)
This is possibly the most curious release I have **ever** come across in classical music.
The Italian music critic (I believe) Mr Arruga gets together with the ex Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo for some improvisations and musings on Vivaldi.
Why? How? I don't know.
It's completely mad as a hatter and I love it.

I extended it to 30s and it didn't improve.

Sorry, Jules, I tried, but I thought it was horrendous, and I'm not averse to the odd classical crossover as a rule. Perhaps if the drummer had been in the same room as the rest of the musicians, at the same time..?
