Was curious if anybody has any memories or experiences with this track.
In my case, I've had some strange aversion to 70's rock for my whole life. I just never got into it...but this track I've gone off the deep end listening to it on repeat on long drives lately.
A few things that stood out to me lately are how the bridge line sounds a bit ominous almost like the beginning seeds of early heavy metal.
Also in the video they're having such a good time performing the track.
And lastly I like the singer's voice and it's odd how he pronounces the word "heard" lol.
It's like he's saying "I hoid it through the grapevine". I haven't heard that word pronounced that way since old Looney Tunes cartoons depicting old time early 1900's American gangsters.

I like that track too, but then I like CCR. Your comment about his pronunciation exactly mirrors what I've thought about it for years! My favourite track of theirs is not one of their singles - 'Graveyard Train' from the'Bayou Countyry album.

Wow are you saying Chris that it sounds like "hoid it through the grapevine"? Like old timey gangster pronunciation?
Ye I've heard this track 30 times in last 2 days and thought "wtf???" Lol. What an odd pronunciation for one random word lol.
Wow I just listened to the link you provided and thought "oh great here we go with the 70's rock" but ye...his voice kicks in and saves the day. That is quite a captivating voice.

You just can't beat a bit of Creedence, greatest soundtrack of the 90s too . . . "You're lucky they left the tape deck though and the Creedence"
That's your movie quiz question, what film is that from? Easy peasy.
I absolutely love Creedence, so many memories
