I guess this is an area where everyone will be quite different. Having owned a record and CD collection in the past, I wanted to emulate browsing through my favourites, so I've tried to duplicate that process, with a few differences. Rather than try to organise just two genres (modern and classical) with them all sorted alphabetically, I've broken it down into more genres (I can feel ChrisB wincing) and abandoned any kind of sorting. The reason for the latter is that Qobuz keep withdrawing titles and replacing them with hi-res versions, which require removing the 'dead' entry and adding the new one to the end of the list. So far, the following playlists have morphed into existence: - Odds and Sods - Live - Solos - Scores - Bass - Jazz & Blues - Classical - Prog - Electronic - Bands - Male - Female - Queued to Listen To The last playlist is a dynamic one where I drop Shazams and tracks I've read about. I then review them, adding them into one of the other playlists or removing them depending on how I feel. I'm doing one of those sorts right now, resetting the Queued to Listen To list down to zero. By the way, I store tracks but I almost always play the whole album. Old habits.

I like having a mix of everything in the listening Found that listening to all the albums from one artist can be enlightening but also too much of that voice/style or similar

I've got a number of genre playlists like rock, pop, metal and dance. Classical has playlists by work eg Scheherazade will have all the different recordings of it that I wish to compare ...

Ok I use(d) Spotify, TIDAL and QOBUZ. Currently trialling Spotify on the 3 months for £9.99, I switched to TIDAL from QOBUZ as can use TIDAL in the Tesla. Actually I have hardly used it so will probably go back to QOBUZ at least for home use as best SQ IMO. I then need to decide if I ditch Spotify (works in Tesla too). Issue with both Spotify and TIDAL in the Tesla is they are both limited to mp3, Spotify is mid mp3, Tidal is highest it can be. All things considered I might as well use QOBUZ on the iPhone in the car and play music using bluetooth from it in the Tesla. Sorry, I digress! Back to how I organise streaming, you can see playlists below in screen prints of this. Spotify TIDAL QOBUZ

I set both Qobuz and Radio Paradise to 320kbps as the best compromise between sound quality and data usage. To be honest, with my engine noise, anything higher is a waste of bandwidth. What I like is I can select a Qobuz playlist (doesn't have to be mine, can be one of the hundreds of curated lists) and just let it run on my journey.

The only playlist I have (on the Fidata) is a bunch of tracks I use for testing. Otherwise I tend to treat streaming and file-playback in the same way as I treat LPs and CDs (the only difference is that my CDs are totally randomised and so I always end up playing something other than what I had in mind!).

I prefer by artist from a playlist pov. Keep them in alphabetical order. I have a couple of 'demo my system' playlists too.
I also use the favourite track and artist feature a lot, especially for new music and things I come across that need more listening. From there when playing, I often click into the album or artist to discover more.
I occasionally play the recommended / curated playlists.
I don't listen to whole albums anywhere near as much as I used to - way of the streaming world for me.

One of my favourite sources of good new music is TV dramas. This is where Shazam works really well. Goes straight into my Queued for Listening playlist.

I only ever use curated playlists. The artists do it for me as a special service, and what's really great is that they take a lot of time and care to decide which track should follow which. I think this is something that used to be called the 'running order of the album'.

And sometimes they even give you a nice break half way to make a cup of tea too!

Becoming used to Playlists and delving into Qobuz and Bubble Surprised to find they are separate although you can access Qobuz playlists from Bubble
What do Qobuz/Bubblers use and why ?

I only curate Qobuz playlists. That way I can add to them from anywhere, e.g. I Shazam something good I hear in a TV drama, I add it to my Queued for Listening playlist via the Qobuz app on my phone there and then. Similarly, I listen to music in the office before others come in and I'm often adding songs to a playlist via the Qobuz for Windows app.

No idea. I just started creating mine from scratch, occasionally referencing my old Spotify playlists. I didn't use any conversion software.
