We've been talking about The Daily Doug but I've also been greatly enjoying Rick Beato's song analysis for a while.

Me too. Mind, I find I have to look up some of his technical references.

Subscribed to him but drifted away. Need to avoid his rants and check out artists I like

Me too. Mind, I find I have to look up some of his technical references. Doug does that too, with his ninths and dorians etc. that go right over my head.

Much of the technicalities are above my head, but I love his analysis of the most complex pop song of all time.

Months ago his rant about Don't Henley (God, he looks old) had me amused:

Now this I'm 100% in agreement with, it's going to rip the crap out of everything and we won't know what's up, down or sideways.
Steve Wozniak made some very good points about AI which I also agree with, it's going to be seriously misused.

AI is seriously going to fuck everything up . . . you mark my words. There needs to be legislation to control it, but I don't trust anyone to do that. Perhaps we should ask AI how it should be controlled. It could be self governing ...or not.

There needs to be legislation to control it . . . 100% - it 'could' potentially be absolutely fantastic, but greed, corporates and crooks will abuse it.

If anything "new" comes along the first application beyond purely scientific will always be weaponization, whether criminal, military, or corporate.

Sadly that's the truth of it. You'd hope we'd have sorted that out by now
