Would anyone care to play this track on their wonderful home system?
Dadub - Ilya
One of the greatest things I've heard with headphones in a long time.

Thank you for taking a listen, Mike. On most systems I've heard it on that thump is overpowering and not enough of everything else could be heard.
But on PSB M4U2 and Hifiman he400i headphones attached to a Sony HPA1 amp playing out of an iPad everything else stood out and it was incredible.
That odd/mesmerizing background noise at 2:24 had real presence, weight, texture to it. It sounded like an object in motion.

Hmmm. Yes that is correct I'd say now that I think.of it. It all sounds like moving parts creating sound.
Do you have anything you know of similar to this?

Cabaret Voltaire comes to mind, could be seen as industrial. Voice of America is a favourite of mine
as are DAF

Would anyone care to play this track on their wonderful home system? Just played it. open.qobuz.com/track/134323614It has an intense feel, almost claustrophobic. Not an overpowering thump, all is revealed in a complex soundstage. It's really rather good - powerful but not overpowering.

Thanks Martin!
Wow, interesting. I've never heard the soundstage truly revealed. Though it would be amazing to hear where all of those images are positioned on that stage.
Another track of there's sounds like electricity echoing through a massive hall like the Star Wars Galactic Senate Chamber.

I love electronic music but unfortunately none of those Spotify tracks are for me, they are what I would call mind f*** sounds.
They just irritate me like some people are with nails on a chalk board.
Still, it was worth a try

As 'Computer Magic' she does an epic cover of 80's classic Self Control which I like to play very loud.

The Laura Branigan original was a classic, too.

Man I don't think the 80's can be beat in terms of just the funnest coolest soul swinging pop songs/radio hits ever.
Send Me Angel, and a trillion others. If anyone knows the BMX bike movie called RAD they know this song plays when the two put on an impromptu bike stunt show in the middle of a school dance. Pure magic.
