Can't always get the best word to describe things.
Thesaurus and searching for synonyms is hit and miss at best.
Here's one that could be called
Familiarity
but that's not working for me.
When you listen to a piece of music you hear more the more often you play it. Often happens out of the blue. Upgrades to kit not necessary. The brain decides to give you more. Why is that ? Familiarity is not quite the right word.
I use words to describe the recent upgrades that are, at best close enough. Others may understand or not Recently the system seems more flowing real warm smoother
We need better words, I do certainly

Ah, but what if the change renders you speechless? Er, and your fingers go all numb!

Always though the spoken word doesn't have enough depth to describe what we hear. Been is situations a number of times with others when there has been a shared sense of wonder and understanding of what a system of piece of music is portraying, but finding it extremely difficult to describe it as you would like to.
Bit like trying to describe emotions perhaps?
