I'm staring to replace some of my Cds.
Have found some at the local library, so at £0.50 a pop, pretty good value.
However, some others are a little heftier in price. For instance:
40th Anniversary Edition of The Who Live at Leeds The Clash Sound System Are they any good?
Also looking at The Sound The BBC Recordings Renascent 2 CD 2004 release Adrian Borland sessions
Can't find: Adrian Borland's 2 Meter Sessies A vinyl rip of Modern Eon - Fiction Tales
Any solutions?

You pays your money
Seems like luck most of the time. Had some horrors and some improvements

It seems random. Some remasters improve greatly on a poor initial release while others appear to be compressed for portable music where the yoofs have never heard dynamic range.
