I decided to try these when I was having issues with a few different servers
The new DigiOne Signature would not work with the SEG
The Nova N15d I could not find the device even BT were unable to help. Think some kind of issue with protocols with my hub according to Tony
So I decided to get the Neo on a 30 day trail from Elite Audio who have been a pleasure to deal with I went for a 12v version as had a spare battery doing nothing and a Chinese linear PSU I also have a spare rail on my Coherent PSU that I will get converted in the future as sure that will give a further improvement.
Initially I tried it with the Chinese PSU and it lacked mid clout, bass and treble was there but no mid clout. The PSU has plenty of hours on it, so not a burn in issue on the PSU
I then moved to battery. The mid clout I am used to came back, a bit more warmth and gradually a increase in 3d imaging, treble and bass. I think the main thing I notice is it is more mature sounding. I still feel like there is more to come from the unit but already no going back.
Set up is easy I not tried Roon or LMS yet just Librespot which is much like Volumio Spotify connect to set up. I think the biggest thing I notice is how sound just comes from nowhere at times and can slam you in your gut. Which for me is something I enjoy.
If people want detailed notes around set up let me know
Once you here a big difference it is hard to go back so I be keeping the SOtM 200 ultra Neo
