Chunky looking like the old ones. Five kg platter!

How on earth do you set the cartridge up on that straight arm ?

Is it designed that way for the same reasons the Viv Lab Rigid Float tonearm is short and straight? There's no bias adjustment either.

Really ? The cartridge will be at the wrong angle if the stylus is anything apart from conical ?
Maybe I'm wrong, but this looks like it's straight out of Hanpin's DJ parts bin.

OK, if you say so. If I sold these my cartridge suppliers would disown me. The wear must be awful.
But YMMV

Why on earth would you take what might be a perfectly decent deck and dress it up in a straight arm with no offset or overhang adjustment and that by the numbers has up to 9% tracing error. That's just crap. I despair, I really do.

Looks like some of the TAS techie-oriented folks are not impressed. I have to say I think it looks awful. That plain (too) thick slab of a plinth just doesn't work for me. And the aesthetics of the platter are pure Pioneer PL12D.

Yep, I can't get past the straight arm either. Cripples the deck's potential.
