I like his concept of "injecting music with emotion" very much. It's simplistic, but it's a great description to explain harmony to a non-musician. I think he goes a bit too far down the jazz road in the end, forsaking all others so-to-speak, but it was interesting. Mind you, he was taught by Herbie Hancock, so I suppose it wasn't really a surprise. I'd have preferred a more "neutral" form, but then he wouldn't have been able to show off his knowledge of chords only a jazz musician would use more than once.
