Hi All Ive given up messing with File players, they are not worth the trouble for me. Ive decided im going for an all in one PC [ No towers] Anyone know what the good ones are. Windows OS absolutely No Apple. Im doing nothing other than playing FLAC/Wav files thru Media Monkey player. Outboard DAC ofc but thats nothing to do with this.. Always been an HP fan tho.. Something Like This

Samsung and LG do some nice all-in-ones, Lenovo too.
I would put HP on a lower rung for reliability.
For outboard DAC, you'll be pushed to better the Caiman SEG.

I have HRT Streamer for Soundcard Bypass. no worries about DAC. Funny you should say that about HP, always had em & been the most reliable! I really like that LG in the link above.

All-in-ones, we used to use DELL at work, no problems.
Before you buy one, give consideration to the fact that they're often difficult/impossible to upgrade in the future (e.g. if you want to add an extra hard drive)

An SSD as the main drive should suffice. Cloud storage makes better sense than additional drives these days.

OneDrive gives you a certain amount free. Dropbox too, I think.

Thanks.
I'm sure most of the stuff will never be accessed again so free would be very nice

OneDrive is my cloud store for documents, photos etc. I don't keep anything local any more, which keeps my PCs clean and allows me to access my stuff from any device.

+1 for Dropbox for me too... but iCloud from Apple appears to be pretty reasonable, from £0.59 a month for 50GB through to £6.99 a month for 2TB

Good starting offer, too. Have you checked the small print, especially with regards to privacy and title?

It’s pretty standard stuff I went with my sons recommendation, he uses them for work clients for back up. All my personal copyright material is encrypted anyway.

Nice. I'll have a closer look as I'm paying £100/mth for 10TB space for backups with Livedrive at work.
