Specifically for a Reg office ceremony I was told to sort it so I went for Now it has become more complicated with the boss getting involved Music for the guests waiting for the ceremony to start while Spanish inquisition takes place back stage Track for bride's entry - Robert Palmer there During the ceremony ? Perhaps Spoonful might not be perfect.... Silence better ? How long do these things take ? so I can fit tracks in Exit to Steve Vai BTW I'm getting married

Congratulations Mike. Sue and I themed ours around some ally Mcbeal (vonda shepherd) - but mostly blues brothers. We had a live band for the reception (the Chillbillies). Both of us tipped off our guests to try to have appropriate dark glasses and trilbys to bring out and wear after the signing - but don't tell Richard /Sue. The surprise therefore was on us - everyone knew we didn't know. And the registrar joined in with a trilby and raybans lent to her by one of the guests.
Have fun!

I was about to say it depends on the bride and groom but sounds like you've got it spot on, Mike!

Thanks guys. Sally gave me full authority to do the music then took wanted input (to micro manage) Be good to know the rough amount of times involved in each bit and whether or not we can have control over track selection at certain times

Wow congratulations Mike, To be honest I thought you were already married, but good on you We used 'Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight' for the first dance, and I supplied the DJ with a series of 'Must Play' songs which he duly played as the day went on.

Congratulations Mike I'll bow out of suggestions for music as personalities , age etc . make things much too complicated . I'm sure you'll both make the right choices and everyone will have a wonderful day

Thanks Paul. Eric's Wonderful tonight was suggested. I didn't think it fitted the Reg. Office which is what I'm sorting. The music at home later on will be whatever happens, with a bit of influence from me

Current situation :
I put up various ideas. Boss turns them down. Confess to seeing reasons for some. Many more to come
