Hi all.
I'm looking for two 10 amp chokes or reactors.
Something like Hammond 195G10 would do, but anything considered.
The Hammond specs are 5mH inductance and 40m ohm resistance.

Thanks for the Sowter link, unfortunately the 10A rating I need is way above Sowters standard range.
I can get new Hammond ones easily enough but was hoping to save some dosh.

DIY Audio may be a good place to post this request.

Found a 6A one here on eBay, may be worth doing some more research. 5mH 6A choke

Thanks Martin, but that is a common mode choke and not suitable for my needs.
I'm hoping to get a pair that can be used in a choke input power supply, and not all "conventional" chokes/reactors are suitable.

Yes, custom made is an option, but at a cost. Sowter are very good, but expensive.
New Hammond (from Hammond UK) are about £45 each and will meet my needs.
Consider this topic closed now please.

In the end I got 2 from Mouser (UK).
They came from Texas (USA) in 3 days without any import, or Parcelthief custom charges (paid by Mouser), and cheaper than Hammond UK.
A good experience.
