Not for me. I haven't even watched TV coverage. I just don't get the event at all.

The mud's not for me for sure. I gave up with festivals in 1972 I think it was when the punter quality dropped.
Always watch it on TV and find new to me bands ZZ Top could be very good

People often seem to decide to attend, irrespective of who's playing. That's the bit I find hardest to relate to. I strongly dislike lots of music. Having to sit through stuff I don't like would outweigh the pleasure of hearing stuff I love. I even find support acts tedious most of the time. Then, as Mike said, there's the mud, not to mention the poor conditions and dubious hygiene. Good luck to Anyone who enjoys that sort of thing though. They can enjoy it without the likes of me taking up a space

My days of sitting in muddy fields are long gone, but I'll be following whatever sounds interesting on Aunty BBC

I usually discover at least a couple of new to me artists so the Tivo will be stacking up a few sessions

Couldn't get a ticket. But at least I'll be able to sit home with my drinks and enjoy the ELO session on the Sunday. I hope that the Earth, Wind and Fire session is at a reasonable time as well. Those are the only two bands worth the weekend for me.

For me Muse, Coldplay, P J Harvey, John Grant, Richard Hawley, M83, Bat for Lashes are all worth watching.

Yes will be going, as I do every year except last year, when I couldn't get a ticket for the first time in thirteen years!
Love going, a bunch of us go and always have a great time regardless of who is playing. There is so much going on, you could fill the whole festival doing things other than listening to music. The festival is actually the same size as Bath once all set up.
We have got to know people over the years, and we now get wrist bands to one of the backstage bars, so tend to spend a lot of time there, good for getting away when the crowds get too much, they have comfy sofas and the beer is cheap!
They have bands on in there too, so it's a good place for intimate gigs, and I have in past had a few beers with the likes of Glen Tillbrook, Rankin Roger and Alabama Three, who are a right bunch of party animals!
Love going, wouldn't miss it for anything and looking forward to this year. ZZ Top will be great!
