Just for fun, assemble a fantasy band that you'd like to hear for real. In fact, make up two or three if the mood takes you.
There are 2 rules...
#1: The players must be alive right now. No dead heroes. #2: Not so much a rule as a guideline - Try to make up a band that could, in your opinion, actually work together, not just your favourite musicians in each category. It might be harder than you think, but hopefully fun too.
My entry...
Lead Guitar - Mark Knopfler 2nd Lead Guitar - Albert Lee Rhythm Guitar - Keith Richards Bass Guitar - Pino Palladino Piano - Glen D. Hardin Keyboards - Alan Clark Drums - Charlie Watts

Only if you think 20 lead guitarists could work coherently.

As long as they are polite it could work !
I have fine memories of (the real) Fleetwood Mac when there were 3 of them - wonderful.

Bad news Chris, your band is purely instrumental, your vocalist is dead! What's the first rule of Make your own band - just add imagination club?. I know Paul Rodgers qualified for his bus pass last birthday (he's 66 years old currently), bur describing it as death is a wee bit of an over exaggeration, surely?

Why did I read Paul Rodgers and think Paul Kossoff. See, I even know what I did. DOH! I have no explanation other than...err...OK, no explanation other than stupidity.

If he'd have been around though, Koss would've made the cut.
