The MA model model numbering system is confusing.
There was an MA9, which is different to this one - it had a reflex port.
There have also been a Silver 9 and a 9 Gold
These ones were ~£200 in a black painted finish and an extra £70 or so for the rosewood veneer like the ones in the photo.
Aluminium dome tweeter and a 6"(ish) woofer. I seem to remember that tweeter being a bit harsh.
I have a review somewhere in an old magazine but will struggle to find it. I think they would be something like 35 x 20 x 20cm

EDIT: When I mentioned the reflex port in the MA9 model, I should have said that the port was on the front. Also, I'm working on the theory that the OP model is the Monitor 9.

My memory is not as bad as I sometimes think it is then - I just wish I could remember the important stuff every now and then!

They ave arrived and I've connected them to me Teac amp and Denon tuner.
Intial impressions is of a very articulate and lucid sound.
