It's a great sketch although I haven't seen much of him that I like.

We need to start a new thread: "Misheard Vocalist Surnames"

We could, or we could start a thread titled "misheard lyrics by someone or other that we can't quite remember".

My wife and myself were in stitches when we misheard ABBA's supertrooper: I was sick and tired of everything
When I called you last night from TescosAnd our favourite by far is the old Maxell tape ad: link

It's certainly very funny. It also highlights why double blind tests are deeply flawed. Once you hear words or notes one way it's hard to unhear them. You end up hearing whatever you noticed with one track on versions or equipment where the sound should be less obvious.
Sorry to darken the levity!

Double-blind tests are fatal to achieving the sound you want.

Once you hear words or notes one way it's hard to unhear them You're quite correct! There's that Dire Straits song with Sting singing on it - "Money for nothing, and there's chips for tea" ....

Some more misheard lyrics, or as I sing it, "Slum whore Ms. Hurley's bits."
