That standard has always been ridiculous and misleading, how can it be anything else, given the description of the condition they class as good? Good means something else entirely to real people who actually listen to music.

I got so angy when all the RC standardise grading came into play years ago.. Why can't used record seller just used their eyes & say what they see

I know, it's pretty simple to describe a flaw or two and let the buyer decide whether they want to commit or not.

Not only that but the Price guide single handedly kill my record collecting passion, Obscure Prog albums i were buying for £10/£20/30 suddenly escalated to hundreds apiece all because a price guide said so..At that point i knew i could not carry on buying them at those prices.. Now i have to put up with owning the CDee of those LP's which is as much use as a wet bog roll where owning something that you can be proud of owning is concerned.
