Ok, so it's maybe not an ideal way to hear bits of kit, but I love watching YouTube vids of other people's systems on my iPad. I still think you get a good idea of the nature of a sound. I'd love to see what other people are finding, so please feel free to post any ones you find interesting. I'll post one of some speakers I inted to seek out once I've managed to move house later in the year.

And of course, I'd have to make room for a pair of these

And before I go to bed here's the lovely Audion Silver Night with Eva Cassidy. I still miss my Audion.

I liked the Klipsch video. Shame that the camera had to catch the sod dropping his spirit level.

Yes, vids are a great way to dream of future directions. Just posting this thread has made me think of running two main systems after I sell my house and move. One will definitely be with Audion SET and horns (probably Klipsch La Scalas). The other will be either flat earth ( probably Exposure/Isobariks) or American Muscle (likely Krell/Apogee). I love all three approaches for different reasons and if I had enough cash to own a house with three separate reception rooms I would run three systems. I know in my heart of hearts, that would be the only way to stop me chopping and changing. In the meantime I can always watch more vids!

Another great system with Audion at its heart.

*Everything* sounds great on Isobariks ! I'd be the last person to argue with you on that. In fact I bet owning three pairs makes them all sound three times as good!

I listen to 2 pairs all the time and I love them
Just opened a new email account. The usual was gone, no surprise MikeMains was gone but not MikeIsobariks !
Put a good front end on them and they sound awesome (see Sig)

I never thought anything could make McIntosh amps look small, but congrats to Dave for proving me wrong. Next time I try to convince my better half we need to revisit McIntosh, I will show her this video to remind her of their (relatively) compact dimensions

....and it can't possibly go loud enough to upset anyone because they have walls that are only made of paper.

I thought this combo made an enthralling sound. I was captivated and will be looking out for HH Scott, not to mention those big JBLs
