One off the good aspects of Steve's system is it's really easy to adjust the different drivers to suit tastes and recordings

Mischa just said a sentence that began, "I know I'm very tolerant, but...."

I'm afraid the Photobucket debacle has wrecked this blog. However Martin might be able to grant author edit so I could fix it. I have all the photos of course, so watch this space. I had a little Hifi gathering today - Martin, John, Mike and Stevec from TAS, and some pics were taken (not by me ), so perhaps they'll make an appearance here? Oops! I posted the photos I took and started a new thread under "HiFi Shows, Bake-Offs and Member Meetings" before I saw this thread!

The photos make the system look more dominant in the room than when you are there. The great sound goes a long way to making it shrink too

Mischa just said a sentence that began, "I know I'm very tolerant, but...." On a more serious note, if there is any way you can separate the music system from the sitting room/lounge/common area functions then you will have a more harmonious life. Systems don't mix well, especially if your partner doesn't appreciate its beauty or if you have to share your time with the TV. I know that's often not possible but it does help a lot. In this respect, Steve has got it spot on!

Hehe Martin. I'm having a listen and thought my god that's sharp!! What's up?? Quickly realised. I had to turn the upper mid horns down 3-4 dB. Was skinning my teeth

See my thoughts elsewhere re the Sheryl Crow. Can you get it on Tidal? I really think it's a great test track and gives real insight into the performance of a system.
