The mystery package contained... The new Black Ravioli Big Pad Plus footers. All I know about them is the studs go through to at least one of the internal metal plates in the constrained layer sandwich. Now on test under my streamer. No pricing as yet. Samples courtesy of Mr Brook of MCRU.  |

No pricing as yet. Waiting for David Brook to get pricing from Derrick of BR. Further listening and swapping between Big Pads and the new Big Pad Plus confirms them to be extremely effective indeed. I'm having trouble adapting to the resolution and ability to go very loud on peaks so cleanly. I already want another four for the DAC. |

They are seriously good. I'm still awaiting pricing and (as long as I don't fall off my chair) I would like to buy another set to go under the DAC / DDC / Clock combo. Thanks. I need a new set of big pads, so holding off now for these. Then of course may find myself swapping out all the current ones. 😀 Just hold on BP gen II is not far away.
A couple of us dealershave been testing them out with clients, not asubtle improvement I might add.
release date not far off now

Yes we have a few sets out with clients for few months
now BR is coming back to a much broader spread of dealers again a few more outlets have been trailing them.
My pre order book is well into three figures.
Although there are a few big OEM orders that are being completed first
Big pad plus I believe is the new designation
These are more particular with placement than the current models well worth experimenting

I have pre orders for that many and yes the are £100 each.
Our clients with BR go back close to 18 years this year and its been a revolation for them, may take a while to obtain the first order though!

No trade selling allowed on here as stated many times. £100 each LOL
Doubt there will be many of the other pads sold 2nd hand as they usually get used in other places in ones system.
To be fair what they sell for is peanuts versus performance.

I have another four BR Big Pad Plus arriving, they will go under my DDC/DAC combo. The intention being that the most sensitive equipment in my playback chain (streamer, DDC, DAC) will benefit the most. The BRs released will all be deployed elsewhere so sorry to disappoint but I won't be selling any of my BRs.
I shall write up a review after I have assessed the two sets in place.
