Hi Greg,
Reference the 15mm vs 20mm tungsten sizes, l simply picked up on MartinT mentioning it in TAS, and like yourself l occasionally contribute on Headfi, where Jake had tried different sizes, and preferred 15mm. So torn, l ordered both,and preferred the 15mm, of course MartinT uses a X26 instead.
But as MartinT already said l don't know anyone that's has anything negative to say about the tungsten cube mod.
Also welcome to TAS...

I am using an LMR400 between my LB and X26 Instead of using the TFLEX 405 as a tail, would it improve on the LMR400?

I wish l could give you a answer based on experience, so perhaps someone else can help, but based on my experience, and having tried lots of different makes, l haven't found anything better than TFLEX 405 as a pairing with the LB at a sensible price,although I remain open minded to different brands. |

If you are happy with the LMR400 I suppose the TFLEX tail should/ would be an upgrade from what is onboard atm? TFLEX tail might then bring a difference to the sound of the LMR400 and original supplied tail, could be a nice suprise? or maybe not . As you probably read I run the LB and X26pro , I started with LMR400 then went to TFLEX405(more open and detailed) and then added the TFLEX tail..to sleep better at night |
