Oh my god. They opened with 'Welcome Home'. And 'Sleepless Nights' is perfect!
I hoped to get to UK in 2 or 3 years for vacation and to visit TAS friends, Jules.
If we can't see King Diamond let's go to a good show in his honor. Though would be incredible if he was playing. Would be the show of a lifetime.
"Grandma welcome home... you have been gone for far too long Is this a dream, are you really back?
Let me help you out of the chair... Grandma Let me touch you, let me feel... ah
Grandma take a look What do you think of the house and the silvery moon?"

Well I tried it, a Musical Hammer House of Horrors IMO, you either get it and like or you don't.
I heard quite a few tried and tested guitar riffs form several other HM bands, there is definitely aspects of the Alice Cooper theatrical about King Diamond, but possibly without the same sense of humour.
Its a 2/5 from me.

Thank you, Martin. I landed a good job a couple of months ago. Am hoping to position myself just right in there to be able to take a vacation or two in a couple of years.
Will be great to see you guys and hear some high end systems and drink some rain...pints I mean pints. Rum for me thanks.
And for anyone that doesn't drink then tea or juice is fine too.

I agree people either click with it or they don't, even though there is an absolute world to discover there, which is something I have thought of a lot lately.

Congrats on getting the job upgrade and hope you are able to do the trips you like. If you make it across the pond we will definitely get on the rum ...

Oh my god. This is the best news ever. The Institute. And Andy Laroque is on it. I will have it day one!
Thanks for posting this Jules not sure I'd have seen this until album was already out. I haven't listened to Mercyful Fate much so I'll start today to be ready for that new album also.
I was driving late Thursday night, reached behind me and pulled a new unopened CD out of the pouch in the back of the seat. It was 'The Conspiracy'. I'd purchased it and forgot to open it.
Snowy roads was a nice drive. The CD looks like a mini vinyl record. Very impressive looking item.

World tour man. I wonder if I can save enough to get out there to your side for that.

Start saving $$$$$ and get your backside over here, that gig will be a riot. The only thing that will stop me going to see Fate or KD in London is serious illness!

Robert, are you familiar with Huntress?
Their singer, the late Jill Janus, was a trained operatic singer with a huge vocal range - she was a fan of and influenced by KD. We have just had the sixth anniversary of her death. So sad, such a talented lady who should have had the world as her stage.
