The cable is US$23 and the shipping is yet to be finally calculated because their website couldn't calculate it properly. I'm awaiting the additional shipping charge to pay.

Been rather busy with summertime family visitors and now this crazy heat wave in the southern med. Haven't had much time to tweak the Gustard R26 with the LB mounted inside. I have now the RG-405 (Aliexpress) to compare to the RG-400.
I also have the female SMA connectors to try out direct to the LB PCB (after removal of the BNC socket)
I can concur about the taking out of the R26 motherboard MCX to BNC link as being a wow moment. Having a very short cable from motherboard to the LB makes a big positive difference.
I also have some solid cable to try out (silver core PTFE then solid copper sheath) the link only has to be less than 40mm, this was extracted from radio ham kit.
Great news about LB and new software progress.........

He mentioned to me that he interested to find out what we might require, i.e different LB connectors and SMA was one of the options he mention , so who knows, we might have different options when purchasing the LB clock in future.

Just giving a little late information to others . I sent an e-mail to Leo Bodnar asking them if the new firmware mentioned by Tony C had either been released or was coming soon . Answer I got back was that they are in the middle of designing and making a new higher precision clock and that this had been a bit forgotten . Simon did say he would add it to next week's things to do and hopefully that it will be available soon . Have not asked how the new clock is progressing but that is another thing to look out for .

It'll be interesting to see if the new clock's price reflects the take-up of the previous Precision GPS Reference Clock by the hi-fi fraternity.

Well sent an e-mail back to Simon and asked if he had any time scale or indication of price levels that the new clock would be at , but no reply from him as yet nor any signs the new firmware for the current clock has been issued . In fairness he did say they were very busy with the work on the new clock so will just have to be patient and see what unfolds .

I'm guessing here but as Tony was up seeing Leo and probably giving some suggestions to Leo with his thoughts what could be added/improved for our benefit. So guessing again here, Tony will probably be getting one of updated clocks to test out and pass on his thoughts to Leo and if all good,Tony will inform us.

Yes given the replies and again I have nothing but guess work to go on that Tony may well be putting in a bit work on this clock with regard to getting the design as low noise and stable as possible which of course means he is not able to discuss things as yet . I think it also might mean that he will stock and sell the new clock through his company as well or not as the case my be . As I say just have to be a bit patient which was never one of my strong points .

So just to keep my promise about updating on this and in my view to show how genuine this company is that they would answer enquiries while they are obviously very busy of other things I have copied the answer I received recently .
Hi Andrew,
We have worked out the flow of a permanent sleep mode now, it will take a short while for us to implement. I estimate the new clock will be a 3-6 months before sale, and should be several 10s of db better in phase noise that the current GPS clock,
