Well, as I mentioned, I had meant to take a new photograph specifically for the competition, but BA seems to have foiled that plan. I was due to fly back to Germany on Wednesday, but the flight was cancelled and so I'm not flying until today. I had the (special) lens I intended to use packed and the props are ready in the studio in Germany, but I won't get home until late (and today is the closing date) so it ain't gonna happen! I might take it over the Xmas break anyway. So, it looks like I need to offer an existing shot for the competition and I at first thought that "'Round Midnight " by Thelonius Monk it had to be. That's a bit too conventional I reckon though so I think I'll go with... "Famous Blue Raincoat" by Leonard Cohen.  |
