My personal view is that speakers are best heard before buying

I would agree with John. I demo'd some Zingalis years ago and found the horn sound unacceptably 'cuppy'.
Your tastes may differ, but I wouldn't buy them blind.

Ok thank you everyone, i have taken your advice and views on board. I will give them a miss. I want italian speakers as the rest of my system is Italian. Perhaps i should look at Sonus faber. Thanks all.

The Sonus Faber are usually well balanced also consider the Goldnote. Both be easy to demo For your taste in music, I highly recommend the Goldnote Evo But do demo as speakers are personal with regards to what we like.

I have a Goldnote Turntable and would love a pair of their speakers but unfortunately out of my price range.

For me as a rocker the cheaper Klipsch are coloured. They certainly kick though.
