Not played a CD for quite a while now..
Rendu and adaptor left on overnight
Strange things going on before I got playing. Messing around swapping Rendus in the list on the phone and back again. Look up and album and add it to to the list which then enables the phone to see the playlist. That has worked before.
Doesn't seem to be the same answer consistently
Played music for about an hour, stopped
Phone had switched to "Local"
Switched back and continued
Sounds like a bug to me
Next time I will try the tablet as it can perform differently to the phone, both Android

I don't get this but my Samsung S7 FE tablet has been ultra reliable and is kept up to date running Android 13.
It could well be that earlier versions may have glitches, or perhaps you're running too many other apps?

There are differences between the phone and the tablet
I'll check Android versions
Meanwhile on the music I'm investigating artists I know and surprising myself, good and bad sometimes from the same artist

More weirdness this morning using tablet only
Played one track, went to advance and not allowed
Fiddling around, loss of queued up play list and back again
How does everyone tag/remember or other the good albums and tracks ?
I'm finding new to me albums that are wonderful, mixed in with so so and no thanks

Easy, I add tracks to playlists to catalogue my 'collection'. I do that in the Qobuz app and they come through into Bubble.

Umm, I use Qobuz for adding to Playlists only.
I play all music through Bubble.

Phone on.
Local renderer, clicked to Rendu
Worked and played many tracks
(do the same thing and get a different result)
After an hour
Stop
(do the same thing and get the same result, as yesterday)
Left it 5-10 minutes just in case
Nope
Phone had gone to local renderer
Clicked back to Rendu
Worked
Ghost in the machine ?

Glitch in your wi-fi. Phone momentarily lost connection to the Rendu. Likely to be the wi-fi kicking off and phone reverting to 4G, meaning it couldn't see the Rendu.
No ghosts involved.

A good day yesterday. Only the problem first thing
Today
Same set up as yesterday
Phone on - to find Bubble not running - oh that can't be good
But it was fine. Opened Bubble and straight in to the track I left last night
Been playing fine for hours now
Can it make sense to Exit Bubble regularly ?

I leave my tablet in standby and usually exit Bubble as good practice - it also picks up changes I've made to my playlists that way. It always sees the Rendu and opens back to the previous track.

Music I'm finding different ways to queue music to listen to with Qobuz and Bubble Currently trawling through artists I know in no particular order and listening to albums I don't know or didn't rate well previously Sonny Landreth has some great albums and Qobuz served me up Cindy Cashdollar - Slide Show Definitely not my sort of music - but I rather like it Looking up Bubble on t'internet I find other people having my problems Delete and reinstall a favourite remedy Assume that could be beyond me due to all the settings I need to know What thoughts ? |

My installation has been running faultlessly on a Synology NAS for years now and needs no attention. Occasionally an update appears and that applies without problems.
