Another day of testing
This time I tried adding a coaxial BT receiver. A bit more depth and clarity. But to be honest not enough considering the cost of the DDC. Perhaps in time I can find a way to stream via bubble or the Stream app to play YouTube. However still quite willing to use my A22 with the BT receiver .
Qobuz is just outstanding I finally get where Martin is coming from.
In IMHO I think WIFI and DDC is the way forward for me.

So how are you streaming when not using BT?

So Tablet using Bubble to the Ifi Stream to the DDC and then to the Gustard A22

Its kind of faced sideways and well in the rack close to the DDC
In time I might ask Tony to put in a decent case

How are you finding BubbleUPnP, John? I really like it, it's very configurable (almost too many settings). I like being able to program the gestures and things like touching the album artwork for metadata.

Is this the paid or free version
I am hoping I share YouTube videos on it and will find out tonight but works on phone so n theory should work

I use the paid version, it doesn't cost much and is well worth it. The developer keeps improving it, too.

Bubble is great been using it for 10 years bomb proof and just works recommended.

Is 'Bubble' the server component? I use BubbleUPnP for Android (a DLNA controller for the Sonore) and I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing?

A quick update
I tried a Blue Jean I2s cable and it lowered the noise floor a bit more compared to the AES Cable which is an Audioquest carbon cable
The last few weeks I have challenged my personal bias a few times.
