The upgrade availability for the 'Signature Rendu Deluxe' - the name chosen for the upgraded model - is approaching reality.
These improvements look very desirable:
Supplies should reach the UK importer Audiostore soon. In the US, interested parties should contact Sonore directly.

Mike and I are booked in to have our Rendus upgraded to Signature Rendu Deluxe model level with the above improvements. We will be driving down to Audiostore in Tunbridge Wells for the day.

The artists are not a problem, I'd gladly play your choices. The sound quality, however, will make you weep. Despite my swapping the head unit for an Android one and performing the Focal speaker kit replacement, the sound in my BRZ is now just a bit less shit.
The car is not an environment designed for listening to music, so I just listen to Radio 4.
You can sample it and let me know if you disagree.

We may find talking fills the space nicely My old Saab was not so bad and I can put up with the boss's Some music being better than no music !  |

After all that's been said about the Deluxe upgrade, the music that sounds the most different, and improved, to me is Nils Frahm's Tripping album. Especially the superb tracks All Melody and #2. Everything about them sounds like different music, from the obvious dynamics and edge detail, to the sense of space and atmosphere and all the fine detail from the rising-from-background-noise of All Melody onwards.
