Fairly sure these are R352s Good speakers in my kitchen diner set up The connection between the speakers and the stands is poor and I'm sure the sound is suffering. There are 4 little buttons on the bottom of each speaker which I think should connect in holes on the top of the stands. This is close to impossible to achieve. If you blink they move out The stands bring these small floor standers to the right height, pointing them up at a slight angle. Is that a good or a bad thing ? The stands are solid wood. Considering ways of connecting or buying other stands

Depends on the height of your seating. They look like they're low stands so pointing upwards may be just right.

Good news then I'm usually sitting on a dining chair so the aim could be perfect

My Sonus Fabers have built in plinths that angle them up gently by means of slightly taller front feet - I certainly have no complaints about this design.
