Can you explain your system to us Clicks could be happening for a variety of reasons. Perhaps send us some pictures Do the clicks happen all the time. How often do they happen Do just happen with all your sources e.g. CD Player and Turntable Its very hard to isolate potential issues without understanding a bit more about the system

It is about the principal materials of my installation . The clicks happen only when y put on the spm 1200 e and it is like électricity static, when the spm 1200 e is at a temperature normal there is no click . The . clicks happen also when y put the and on the spm 1200 e .

Yes, JP, I think that connecting the subwoofer may have caused the amp stress, depending on the total impedance (it may have gone below 4 Ohms). I still think it might be best to send it to Chord for inspection.
I have never heard of right/A and left/B connection, would not have thought it would make a difference except that you can switch off either right or left channel.
I agree that the 1200E is exceptional, which is why I posted the review. Every time I improve my system, it just gets better.

Ditto on improvements Hadn't thought too much about that as my Chord is fairly recent. My Isobariks continue to amaze me being so old, but still allowing the improvements to come through loud and clear

There is little or no difference in specification as far as I can see between the 1200E and 1200 Mk.II. I asked John Franks (the designer) what the differences were and he said they were small optimisations in the circuit and layout to improve overall sound. I have heard a Mk.II a few times but, of course, never against a 1200E so I cannot tell you if it's worth the difference.
John told me that I would be better off upgrading to a pair of 1400E monoblocks. However, the price is far out of my reach and, anyway, I still think the 1200E is magnificent.

I think my Chord has the same size holes as Martin
Have not checked though
Assume the later model is either 1. Upgrade 2. Change in manufacturing

Agreed, I've never seen different size holes.
