The Woody is listed at 1900 USD but Pete recently put up his prices by 10% so I'm guessing it's 2090. That's still a bit steep for me right now but then there's all the added taxes which really push it up. I believe it has a money back guarantee but I'd find it hard to return due to the unique aesthetics. From the other bits I've tried, I'd hope the performance would live up to them.

What deck would you put it on?

Xerxes? Hope the top deck isn't sagging. Nice arm - Alphason?

Yes that's tight. I've had a few Xerxes and none have sagged, although I'm not a lover of SME arms so mine have tended to be fitted with lighter arms. I've read that the worst affected Xerxes were from a particular production run, although I'm relying on 2nd hand info.
The current arm is a Xenon MCS. I've used a few arms and surprisingly to me, this has been the best so far. I tried the same arm many years ago on another deck and it was something I could appreciate rather than like. I thought it was a bit too ethereal and lacking in raw power. This one sounds like a different arm altogether. I guess it just suits the Xerxes and OC9 combo better than my previous attempt.
In terms of what I can justify, I still fancy trying a Zeta, a Kuzma Stogi or a Mission Mechanic if I'm really lucky. I still love the Pete Riggle arm though and like many people, sometimes just get the urge and have a splurge. This soon after the costs of Christmas, I hope I can keep my resolve!

Mine must have been from that production run, plus I had an SME IV on it. It sagged so badly that I ended up not being able to keep alignment any longer. I sold it off in disgust. The OC9 was nice, though!
I now have my dream arm so no more arm hunting for me.

Your dream arm is an amazing looking piece. Actually, it's more than looks, I really should have said amazingly engineered.

Is that Ash veneer on the Xerxes in that photo?

Yes, I got it from a German collector. I always wanted the light ash version. I was very nervous about risking shipping but he was a meticulous character and it arrived triple boxed in a package about the size of w washing machine!

3 out of 4 are Italian..painfully so...The Montegiro, despite the name, is actually German.
I own the VYGER's little brother, so I'm quite familiar with their decks. I recently heard the first one, the Goldnote Bellagio Conquest; it is, in fact, more impressive looking in the flesh.
