Its a S-E-V-E-N from me.
A fine album that rewards more with repeated plays.
It is indeed a dark album - But quite Beautiful. (Cornflake Girl is a catchy little number, all about female Genital Mutilation).

Maria Mena - Mike you liked her I remember... I do. CD purchased 8/10 on the Mikeometer - which for female vocal is probably very high ! |

Thought I would revisit those albums that I hadn't commented on before.
I would rate this as a 7/10 - I really like a lot of it, there are quite haunting elements to both her voice and the overall presentation of the album.
