The Monkees - Daydream Believer & The Last Train To Clarksville (listened to a lot, collected their cards with bubblegum)
The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby (put it on the Jukebox at Littlehampton cafe by Fair, I was 8)
The Kinks - Lola (first heard it on the radio and loved it, put it on Jukebox at Cafe in Winchester, much to my Mum's embarrassment I knew all the words and sang along, I was just twelve 12, still my favourite single of all)
Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Chile (one of my first singles for Xmas, I was 12, my father hated it, I still love it)
Dave Edmunds Rockpile - I Hear You Knocking (my other Xmas single)
All of the following albums
Moody Blues - On The Threshold Of Dream (my first album, my cousin introduced me to it, and I saved up to buy it, I was 12, still a favourite today, started my love of Prog and Psychedelic)
Black Sabbath - Master of Reality (2nd Album, spent 2 months listening to it in local record shop until I had the money for it, again I was 112)
Deep Purple - In Rock (purchased in 1971, a friend introduced me to them)
Led Zeppelin II (purchased with the above, as was still in the top 20 after many months I believe)
Hawkwind - Space Ritual (I already had Silver Machine and purchased this a weeks after its release, I then became a big fan, seen them 4 times, 1974(Southampton Gaumont(, 1976(Reading), 1989(Swindon 25th Ani Tour), 2013(Hawkfest Seaton Devon)
Pink Floyd - DSOTM - 1st heard in a a Disco/Club below hotel in Rimini - Italy just after its release, I was on hols. with parents, I purchased it on our return and have played it regularly ever since.
Supertamp - Crime of the Century (did not come across until 1974, it has been a firm favourite ever since)
All the above albums still get played regularly at least once a year, Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze is my ringtone.
I think the above sums me up, I'm an ageing Prog Rocker and have been so from an early age.
