Well, just a few hours of with the set up this Sunday afternoon. I had that John feeling " lf you could only hear how good things now" l lowered the XO to 105hz,this sharpened the soundstage. As as been stated, that low mid bass is excellent. I only experienced or obtained this twice, via headphones, and speakers wise, a pair of Tannoy 615, l loved the bass on those, however it was let down by the midrange and hf, which sounded vailed. What's is surprising that time flies listening to the speakers, l'm enjoying rediscovering my music collection, l love it when you revist a track from a old album, and you're stunned on how good it sounds. Happy 😊 Days

So what is the track? Very good Vic, l had a similar outcome when l videod my Crystal 10s, the phone mics just don't do it justice.
Managed to get 2 Kefs centers wired up on each side. Very impressed, and even more efficient, and now goes crazy loud,l actually run out room volume now, and loose the sweet spot, before running out of volume.
Due to work, l am sending them off for Vic's magic touch, the last eggs took me three weeks to mod, been flat out lately.

Make sure you get the right ones Ali You can tell if they have 2 small bass drivers. Also make sure they have the bracket for the stands. They match Vic bass drivers un what they do.

John, what would happen if you were to 'isobarically'* load both of your bass drivers in that configuration?
*I realise this term is likely incorrect here, but I'm sure you follow.

I hope this helps as I am not sure if you want to put the Kef's in a Isobarek configuration or separate bass drivers I use 2x 15" Selenium Neo bass drivers per channel in Isobarek configuration. Because the Kef's have 2 mini bass drivers that excel in the 100 to 500hz range the bass has taken on a new dimension in terms of texture, detail and depth. I am hearing detail in low mid/bass I did not know existed You could not load the Kef's that way, as you lose a lot of the Treble and Mids.

Finally..... Just had a two hour session, one word WOW. l ended up at 95hz on xo for subs. l just had a crazy session that involved 3 cans of Guinness and peaks 111db, incredible. I can only thank Vic for modded them due to time, my wife joked, l will be changing my setup by next week, but little does she know, she actually doesn't believe me now, when l said thats it. What a speaker journey its been.

Okay sorry for the tease...As I've only had 3 Minutes of listening, the I had to go out, and I'm out again today. If I'm lucky I may get a hour later this afternoon. So thanks to Vic (Trans Fi) as I had this project in mind for months, it nearly happenned with the standard side Kefs, then the handbrake went up,once I heard the Kef centers. The wiring is 16/16ohms series into 8ohm parrallel, and correct me if I am wrong ? brings sensitivity up to 99db per side.
Now each center takes 100watts each, so I'm not sure If I need a bigger amp (Using Temple Audio Monoblocks 70 to 100watts), or is this not needed to the increased sensitivity ?
Here are some photo's to keep you going, and any advice, in regards to the amp side of things
