They have a new album called "Fatal Mistakes" coming out, in multiple formats, signed versions, there's even a cassette. I've just pre-ordered the signed CD for £11 + £3 p&p. If you're interested then take a look here delamitri.tmstor.es/It lands on May 14th 2021 via Cooking Vinyl

Devious buggers, these Del Amitri lads. My freshly minted brand-new "Fatal Mistakes" CD (with a *signed* insert) is, I'm told, winging its way to me even as I type. By the way, they said in the same email that brought the good news, there's another version now, one that's restricted to digital download, with FIVE extra tracks. It's only £5.99 they said, and here's a two-quid off code, they said. So I'm another £3.99 lighter and I've just downloaded all 18 tracks in FLAC format. The CD is still on its way. At least it's signed.

Great live band. I got some tickets for them too - Blackpool, I think. We'll see whether we get to see them though!
Last time I saw them, they did 'The Ace of Spades' - brilliant!

Should the BBC ever deign to repeat their Songwriter's Circle series, please don't miss the episode with Justin Currie, Chris Difford, and Boo Hewardine. It's one of the best "gigs" I've ever seen. The three of them were brilliant together, and when Justin sang "If I Ever Loved You" I don't think there was a dry eye in the house, and that includes onstage.
You don't get the same effect as hearing it in the middle of a program, but it's still bloody good.

That was one of the best music programmes for years and that particular episode was fantastic.

My CD turned up b.t.w. and what a crap signed insert it is. I must have had mine signed at the end of a very long day.

Sounds good. It almost makes it a shame I don't/won't have Sky.

Sounds good. It almost makes it a shame I don't/won't have Sky. I won't pay the evil empire either, Chris, but Sky Arts is on Freesat (Channel 147) and Freeview (Channel 11) both of which I've got.

That's pretty funny, because I think that 'Lousy with Love' their previous album of b-sides is better than any other albums they've done.

I'd forgotten all about it, Chris. My CD copy arrived in the post today, and I just assumed it was the new Bernie Marsden CD until I opened it. It was a nice surprise.
