I think my new favourite track has become Concrete Walls. It has tremendous impact when played loud and features her in chant mode for maximum atmosphere. In all honesty, I just flip from one favourite to another as pleases me!

I'd listen to track 1 again, but not the rest of the album. Are there any albums that sound like the first track? The rest of it! Her follow-up album is slightly different as are those by The Knife (I like Silent Shout), but the alternating chant/singing remains a part of her make-up. I'm loving Plunge right now. |

I had a good felling about this album once that first track got started. However, by track three I was truly bored by her voice and delivery. I even skipped my way through the next few tracks and nothing really stood out as a song. It was all rather like the more tedious bits of Bat for Lashes to me I'm afraid. Gave the sub a good work out though!

It's taken me ages to get a handle on this and I'm still not there yet , I think I like it , it can wash over me and then it grabs me so 4/5 Surprisingly Interesting certainly fits .

I am very pleasantly surprised by the votes for this music. I really had thought it would be widely panned. I admit to remaining mesmerised by Fever Ray's music and that of The Knife.
