I picked this recommendation up from another forum and have used him a few times now.
A nice guy who picks up and delivers across the country.
He's done pickup of a cd player for me, from Plymouth to London and collection of my amp from me in London, delivered to Alan (Firebottle) in the Midlands, then collection from him, back to me.
You can talk to him or message with your requirements, ask for a quote, reiterate handling - do not tilt or put anything on top and so on, if delicate item like cdp etc, like I have/do.
It's another option and does feel a bit more personal.
He'll let you know if/when he's going where you want him to and you can check with him if something needs collecting after repair, to come back etc etc.
