Ypres is a better visit with a superb museum, but Bruges is a lovely old compact city.

This little factoid might appeal to UK Tv viewers of a "certain," age.

I'm currently reading Miriam Margolyes' wonderful autobiography, and she discusses at one stage, her voiceover work. She states that she very rarely watched anything she voiced, because in the main she A). Prefers subtitles herself, and B) Most of the programs didn't actually appeal to her. It was then that she dropped in that she performed all bar one of the female roles in The Water Margin, and the majority of female characters in Monkey.

I used to love both of those and never knew. Andrew (Manuel) Sachs did some of the voices in Monkey too, along with the great Burt (Cato) Kwouk OBE.

I didn't use to need the internet, my wife knew everything.
