You probably won't have heard of her, or even heard her music (knowingly) because I know that most of you guys don't watch the types of thing she's scored, but she's got a couple of blockbusters under her belt (we won't mention "Mongolian Death Worm,") a major new TV series, and the six-part TV documentary about the McDonald's Monopoly promotion scam that occurred between 1989 and 2001, "McMillions, " to boot. She's not too painful to look at either, and there are pictures, both of her, and Gal Gadot. I refuse to have anything to do with comments about Ms Toprak having a "Top Rack," though. What else? First woman to score a Marvel movie, and before you pass that off, think of how much that franchise is worth, so it was a really big deal. She's also scored films and TV series for the "other" major comic book franchise, DC. Oh, and she also scored what is probably the biggest game on the market at the moment, Fortnite. I found it to be an interesting article, and an interesting perspective too. The movie clips give some examples of her work, including the full soundtrack album for DC's Stargirl, which is currently being streamed on Amazon Prime, and a track featuring Lili Haydn, the American rock violinist, who is also quite easy on the eye. Go on, it's Sunday, you're bored, give it a go. You might just be pleasantly surprised. composer.spitfireaudio.com/en/articles/pinar-toprak-on-captain-marvel-scoring-blockbusters
