I looked at the MK2 a while back. I wondered what does the processing - is it just a pi?

Could be one of several single board computers like a Pi, Tinkerboard, Odroid etc.

I think they are Pi based.

Arriving this afternoon (Providing UPS are being normal), as I've been a good boy and not purchased much lab equipment of late a fantatsic new product to help with this rather tricky surface mount soldering job's on chifi. The JBC SMD rework bench & pre heater. I have the rest of the JBC equipment on this image except for the reworkbench/arm and under board heater.

Interesting.
The power amp has a 'Timbre' switch with which you can choose 'Pure' or 'Vintage' - seems a little curious.

Crazy money for that Sony. You’d want to be on long haul flights every week using it.

I've heard of them but never heard one. Impossible to say how they would stack up against SR fuses.

I don't like the idea of it going into the path of your power cable - more contacts to deal with, possibly negating any benefits from using the copper rod in the fuse holder.
