A tricky one this, I was there in the punk era in London, and saw the Buzzcocks, Pistols, Jam, Sham 69, the Damned etc. and it was great and really shock ups music at the time. Somehow the Pixies come across to me as a band that is echoing what has gone before not in a bad way, maybe more pop feel in places, just it's more or less already been done to my ears anyway.
So is a 3/5 from me.
