I saw that one, it is made in NY, it costs only £22. This is a nice blog about headshells and tonearms, please see SME measurements. korfaudio.com/blog

Chaps, I could not resist and asked the owner of the Air Force One about SME/MC compatibility. He said that SME Series II Improved or -R type. which Steve and many others use here is different from my S2. The issue isn't the bearing but the arm wand material, your S2 is aluminum and Series II Improved -R type is steel. Then, I replied: "Noted, but the head shells and knife edge bearings are the same in both". His answer surprised me, "It's the same type of bearing design but not interchangeable, the head shells are all the same". Can a steel wand weight make the 3009 compatible with a MC cartridge? This man is a partner at The American Sound Turntable Co., please see photo, also with SME 3009. In addition to the AF One he has a Goldmund Reference, a Thorens Reference, a Micro Seiki SR-9000, an EMT 927. The eyes minus the ears? I'm using the Dynavector 10x5 in my 3009 S2 improved and it sounds sweet
